Children's Activities

Take part in our fun, family-friendly Oyster Trail!

Collect your FREE Oyster Trail sheet from any of the information points (marked on the map), Truly Scrumptious Sweet Shop, or from one of our volunteers.

As you explore, look out for oysters displayed in shop windows. Each one contains a letter—write them down and see if you can solve the hidden phrase!

The trail will guide you through some of the Old Town’s charming streets, including Thames Street, Church Street and Market Street.

Make a stop at Hotel du Vin, where children can enjoy a free biscuit decorating in the hidden garden/terrace, while adults relax with a glass of wine.

You’ll also find more free family activities at St James’ Church, including creative crafts, Music workshops, and refreshments served throughout the day, plus music and stalls outside.

This Oyster Trail is kindly sponsored by Hotel du Vin.

Have fun and good luck!
